Jim Rogers founded ProInfoNet from his home office to help companies improve efficiency and profitability through IT consulting.
ProInfoNet expanded its operations by opening its first office in Evergreen Woods, marking the start of 25+ years of company growth.
Jim Rogers helped create the New England Telehealth Consortium (NETC), a non-profit with over 300 healthcare locations across New England. Governed by a board of directors, NETC provides affordable internet access to rural hospitals, clinics, and physicians. In 2007, NETC won $24.7M from the FCC's Rural Health Care Pilot Program to build a network connecting all member locations.
ProInfoNet was selected to design, build, and manage the NETC network. ProInfoNet continues to serve as the managing agent for NETC's network to this day.
In response to the Rural Healthcare Pilot Program, ProInfoNet launched a healthcare IT business unit to help healthcare providers nationwide navigate the program and receive subsidies of up to 65% for their networking costs.
ProInfoNet launched Mission Broadband, its second business unit, to help states, towns, and municipalities bridge the digital divide by bringing broadband access to underserved communities.
ProInfoNet now serves over 2,500 healthcare sites and 500 communities nationwide, providing IT and broadband consulting services with 35 team members.
